We're Seniors and still love to camp with our new Instant Cabin tent. Our last trip 3 weeks ago, made my Husband decide to buy a generator for Camping. He had a difficult and lengthy time .... to air up our new 24 inch Queen Air mattress with battery operated Air Pump .... too slow.So, when we got home .. he started researching for a generator. And found this one. !!! It arrived and He tested it at home, and He aired up this 24 inch Air Mattress .... 7 min !!!! He charged our 2 Phones and 2 Tablets .... fast !!!My Husband is so elated with this new purchase.
This unit is really easy to use and very useful. Over about a week on a remove off grid island, I used it to recharge my flashlights, phone, battery fan, and smart watch. It stores a ton of energy and delivers it simply and easily. I did run into two problems. 1) the unit came with a very low amperage 15V wall wart for charging so it took a long time to fully charge from an A/C source, so I bought a new 15V supply that delivers 2 Amps. Now it charges up much more quickly. 2) the A/C switch sticks up and can be accidently turned on and even with nothing plugged in, that will run down the battery. This happened when I packed it in my boxes. Simple enough to charge it up at the power source once I arrived, but should not have happened. I designed and printed a small switch guard that I glued around the switch to prevent this (see picture).
